This morning I came across a video of the great Cantor Jacob Ben-Zion Mendelson from Temple Israel in White Planes in New York. In the middle of this video he illustrates how he can get any group of musically inclined people to be a cantorial choir and experience cantorial music in a meaningful way that doesn't put them to sleep.
